Whilst we believe that Plotto is already the most comprehensive and advanced video survey tool on the market, there is always room for improvement, and the development team have been very busy since our last update.

The new facial emotion analysis tool went live last month. The keyword theme analysis and sentiment analysis tools help categorise the words people say - now with the emotion analysis tool you can get direct insight into how they actually say it.

The tool recognises the facial expressions of people in the videos and returns an aggregate summary of their emotions with a confidence rating. The emotions detected are anger, contempt, disgust, fear, happiness, neutral, sadness and surprise. These emotions are understood to be cross-cultural and universally communicated with particular facial expressions.

Each testimonial video you receive has a scorecard like the one below, and this can be used to filter and search your content.

The team are now obsessed with trying to submit a video that gains a 100% happiness score!

We have also launched our online billing platform, helping you to better manage your account and enabling you to launch a new online research survey in minutes. So whether you want to just run a single online video survey or subscribe to run them regularly, there will be a plan to suit. What's more, our handy time tracker allows you to keep tabs on how much video content you have received.

It is now even easier to sign up and sign in to Plotto, you can do this with your email but also choose to do it with your Google+, Facebook or Twitter credentials.

Additional campaign summary information is now displayed, giving you instant access to useful information on your online survey such as response rates, average video length, total video length, device usage and a daily breakdown of response levels.

To see these, as well as all the other video research tools that Plotto offers, please contact the team for a demo or register on the platform directly to try it yourself.
